Lesson & Program Overview
All golf lessons consist of 1-hour of instruction (45 minutes for a junior) unless otherwise stated. The lessons can cover any area of the game that you feel is not up to par. The lesson will begin with a short question/answer period that will determine some of your strengths and weaknesses of the game along with your goals for the future. Then, using that analysis, we will work on the issues necessary to improve your game while using training and visual aids to assist you. Finally, an overview of the lesson will take place where you will be given practice techniques and/or drills so you can continue to improve your game during your own practice time.
Here is a list of some topics we could cover that you might be struggling with:
Posture
Grip
Alignment
Full Swing Fundamentals
Short Game Fundamentals
Proper Practice Techniques
Course Management

Club Fitting/Equipment
I can adjust any program to fit your desired results and time commitments. Also, Private Lessons do not have to be restricted to just one-hour at a time. We could work for several hours at a time if it works better for your schedule or level of improvement you would like to see out of your game. Please let me know this as we schedule the lesson so I can plan my time more accordingly and mark off the proper length you desire.
Group Clinics and Corporate Clinics
I am available for Group Classes at any time and can do a clinic for your business either in-house or out at my facility. We can personalize each clinic for the number of players and skill levels involved. We can also do sessions over several weeks long or condense into a few hours in one day or on consecutive days.
As of now, all of these will be formulated based on your desired number of players and the amount of time your would like scheduled for the clinic. Please contact me for further information on the clinics.
FAQ’s
What is the best way to schedule my lesson?
Using the contact section, the best way to get a hold of me is through email or on the phone. If you use email, give me a brief synopsis of your golf game and some of the things you would like to work on in the lesson. Then, provide me with a few days or times that work best for you. If you phone me, then please leave a short message with your contact information and I will call you back to discuss further details.
How early should I arrive for my lesson?
It is always a good rule of thumb to arrive 10-15 minutes before each lesson. This gives you an opportunity to stretch and hit a few balls beforehand so we can get started on time.
I’ve never taken a lesson before, what is the proper golf attire?
I would recommend wearing something similar to when you play on the golf course. If you have never played golf at all, then a good rule of thumb is at minimum shorts (skort/skirt for women) and a collared shirt. If you have golf shoes I recommend wearing them otherwise sneakers would be fine.
What if I don’t have my own golf clubs, how will we conduct the lesson?
Please inform me in advance if you do not have your own set of clubs. I will provide some clubs for the lesson and we can discuss equipment during the first lesson.
